Originally got this vintage bread box for our artisan home-baked breads but it's two one-directional and clunky for the kitchen counter so it's been sitting around in a cupboard for awhile!
I finally realized what I could use it for after scratching my head trying to think of a cool landing strip set-up: it's now our mail inbox!
We moved the lantern to the dining and the big table lamp into the living. It really ties the two chairs together. Next up is a nice sculptural plant in the corner over the speaker!
Henry put up two cherry colored shelves we found at a garage sale and we scored big with the vintage '70s receiver we bought for 10 bucks from a lady, practically unused!
My most successful and favorite week 3 cure: a sweet 2' wide vintage door panel we scored at a salvage store to place over two rolling file cabinets I bought from a downsizing design firm!
I scored the lovely vintage fan from a local store, it works really well! The vintage turntable was a really amazing find for $10 from a lady in great condition! And we need a plant/light in corner.
Henry doesn't like the corner 'table' which hides a pile of boxes we have no where to store...
My lovely real gerber daisy!
Another nice find, a $2 solid old bookshelf-much needed, the lamp was from the old landing strip
What a difference some pictures can make, picked up from a garage sale
